Researchers now say it appears a massive 9.0 quake could strike even closer to Seattle and Tacoma than previously thought.Â

What many don't realize is that their homeowners, renters, and condo insurance policiesÂ don't automatically include Earthquake Insurance and if there were an earthquake they would have no coverage for their house or personal belongings.Â

If you are not sure if you have Earthquake coverage, call your agent and ask for a quote so you can weigh the options of paying a higherÂ premium for coverage in the event of an earthquake or not and rebuying everything you own with no help from insurance.Â
